I am very angry and disappointed. I can not believe that humanity can continue to exist as it does. There is suffering and death occurring all over this Planet, even at this very moment. This entire planet belongs to each and every one of us. We are all the same, we are all Human beings existing on a Planet. Yes, we have made it to this day through the endless generations that came before us, but we can not let our selfishness and stupidity to continue to exist, it is dishonoring and cheapens what the miracle and amazing capability of the Human being is. For us to exist in this Universe is a gift and a miracle. It should be treated with respect. Each and every life. Nothing should have greater value.
Our ancestors and environment have given us a great and maybe not so rare gift to which we should take great responsibility for. Teachers and parents, what are we doing with it? You must wake up and realize you are here now. Equality first starts with recognition of everyone being all equal. 7 billion of us. If technology and communication exists, its primary function along with education should be to aid all humanity. No borders should ever separate the people, the resources, the technology, or the care. No currency should ever be exchanged. Extortion for survival is stupidity. Our selfishness and stupidity continues to breed an environment for just the fittest of us to exist and have comfort while the most poor suffer the worse agonizing pains. If we were a bit more selfless and smart, we could learn to share freely. If we did that, it would be survival for all. All the pain and suffering can be drastically reduced. All it takes is to make sharing law and rejecting all currency. Share instead of trade, cooperate instead of compete. We need to take responsibility for ourselves and each other. Do this and watch us evolve. The Mayan calendar expires soon, less than 4 years. I would think it could be a tribute to our ancestors to start a new calendar to note humanity’s shift from "survival of the fittest" to "survival, luxury, care and community for all". We are all better than this. It's time we've learned from our past and adapted, updated ourselves to the latest rights and latest wrongs, to give humanity a chance at a truly great future. Use your brains, freely volunteer and share knowledge, opinions, and talents. Become selfless and smart.
