Because the United States economy is based on debts and not on savings, with lower wages, the elimination of social security, raising of retirement ages, less opportunities for savings, and less government support, we should expect seniors to be competing for employment until the day they die.  Since seniors will obviously be discriminated against for younger employees or physically be unable to keep up, less seniors will have the resources necessary to sustain their lives.  The only conclusion will be suicide.  This is the existence we force on our elders, shameful death after giving us life.
