I like to lock my car's cruise control in at the speed limit and navigate my way over to the fast lane. This does a few things. I am the bench mark. Any car moving past me is speeding. This makes easy pickings for cops. Second, when everyone slows down and locks in at the speed limit we are efficiently moving and being predictable through space and don't ever a time give cops a target. Will it take a little longer to get there, yes, give or take a few minutes. To save lives in avoiding tons of accidents and tickets, well worth it.
